It is noteworthy that in 2019, BJP's lok sabha candidate Rao uday Pratap Singh got a total of 8 lakh 77 thousand 927 votes. The rival congress candidate got 3 lakh 24 thousand 245 thousand votes. Rao uday Pratap Singh defeated Congress's Dewan Shailendra Singh by a maximum of 5 lakh 53 thousand 682 votes. Darshan Singh Chaudhary, bjp candidate from Narmadapuram lok sabha seat, was once in a government job. He also organized a movement by forming a teachers' organization. He went to jail four times and finally decided to leave his government job and join politics. Darshan Singh comes from a strong society and it is said that he has the blessings of former cm Shivraj Singh. congress candidate Sanjay Sharma is counted among the strong leaders. He represented Tendukheda in the assembly twice on a bjp ticket. In the year 2019, he changed sides and joined Congress.

Once again elected mla from Tendukheda. In the assembly elections, Sanjay Sharma was defeated by BJP's Vishwanath Singh patel by about 15 thousand votes from Tendukheda. Sanjay Sharma was second in the list of billionaire congress candidates.

In the first general election of 1951, congress candidate Syed ahmed won from Narmadapuram. hari Vishnu Kamath won the by-election of 1952. He contested the elections on the ticket of the Praja Socialist Party. In 1957, congress once again made a strong comeback and won Narmadapuram. In 1962, the Narmadapuram lok sabha seat was once again won by hari Vishnu Kamath, contesting on a Praja Socialist party ticket. Janata party won the elections for the first time in 1977. Rameshwar Neekhara of congress was elected mp twice consecutively in 1980 and 1984. In 1989, BJP's Sartaj Singh won for the first time and continued winning elections till 1999. After a long time, congress won from Narmadapuram in the 2009 lok sabha elections. In 2014 and 2019, Rao uday Pratap Singh again won the Narmadapuram seat on bjp ticket.
