Delhi's Rouse Avenue court has reserved its order on an application filed by chief minister arvind kejriwal regarding a meeting with lawyers. The chief minister of delhi had sought instructions to increase the time of meeting with his lawyers from twice a week to five times. Special Judge kaveri Baweja has fixed april 9 to pass orders on the case. According to the jail manual, the delhi cm and the national convenor of the aam aadmi party are currently allowed to meet lawyers only twice. arvind kejriwal is currently in judicial custody in the delhi Excise Policy case.

Earlier, a petition was filed in the high court to remove cm arvind kejriwal from the post in the matter of delhi Excise Policy. The court had rejected this petition on thursday (April 4). Commenting during the hearing, the court said that democracy should be allowed to work in its way. The court also made it clear that no one can use democracy for personal agendas. Let us tell you that delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal will remain in judicial custody till april 15 in the matter of excise policy. He is lodged in Tihar Jail. The delhi cm has been kept in a barrack of tihar jail under 24-hour CCTV surveillance.
