BJP has announced its candidates for 6 out of 13 lok sabha seats in Punjab. In this, former indian Ambassador to America Taranjit Singh Sandhu has been given a ticket from Amritsar. bjp candidate Taranjit Singh Sandhu is continuously reaching out to the workers and the public regarding the elections. Meanwhile, while addressing the people on Monday, Sandhu said that he does not consider politics as the end. He will do clean politics.

‘Use your experience for the youth’

BJP candidate Taranjit Singh Sandhu further said that he will do such work which will benefit the people of Amritsar. He said, "I will work to increase the income of my brothers and sisters in the agriculture sector, in the industry sector, and the tourism sector through education and skill training. All educated and experienced people, public servants, bureaucrats, politicians, and journalists It is my responsibility too. Whatever experience all these people and I have, we should use it for the welfare of our youth."

Sandhu has served in America and Sri Lanka

Apart from this, he has also held the responsibility of High Commissioner of india in Sri Lanka. He joined the indian Foreign service in 1988. He has worked in many positions in the indian Ministry of External Affairs. His wife Reenat Sandhu has been India's Ambassador to Italy. Taranjit Singh Sandhu joined the bjp on march 19 last month. Along with this, he had expressed his desire to contest the lok sabha elections. After this bjp gave him a ticket from Amritsar. At present Gurjit Singh Aujla of congress is the mp from Amritsar.
