Meanwhile, the Income Tax Department has sent a notice to the congress party to pay Rs.1823 crore tax. The Income Tax Department has sent a notice saying that the congress party has not paid taxes of Rs.1823 crores in the last 4 financial years. From 2017-18 to 2020-21, a notice has been sent for non-payment of tax along with a penalty.

It also said that every state congress leader should hold a protest in their respective state and district capitals
