Big blow to punjab congress, ludhiana mp Ravneet joins BJP…


Just before the lok sabha elections in punjab, the congress suffered a big setback. ludhiana mp Ravneet Singh Bittu has joined the BJP. Ravneet is the grandson of the late former cm Beant Singh. He was considered close to rahul Gandhi. Ravneet Singh Bittu took membership of the party at the bjp headquarters in Delhi. Recently, on the arrest of delhi cm arvind kejriwal, he adopted a different stand from congress and targeted the delhi CM.

Ravneet Singh had attacked arvind kejriwal in his 'X' post. He had written, "Kejriwal and party came to power by promising Swaraj and Jan Lokpal, but the irony is that they proved to be the biggest swindlers." This issue of corruption in delhi is just the beginning.'' He had when many big congress leaders including rahul gandhi and priyanka gandhi had come out openly in support of Kejriwal.

Ravneet Singh Bittu is a three-time MP

Talking about Ravneet Singh's political career so far, he is a three-time MP. In 2014 and 2019, he was elected mp from ludhiana, while in 2009, congress gave him a ticket from Anandpur Sahib and he won.

This was the reason given for joining the BJP

Enumerating the reasons behind joining the bjp, Ravneet Singh said, "I have had a deep relationship with PM Modi ji in the last 10 years. I thank PM Modi, amit shah Ji, and jp nadda Saheb. I will say only one thing I come from a martyr family. My grandfather Beant Singh was the Chief Minister. punjab has seen the time of darkness and has also seen how to correct it. PM Modi wants to do a lot for Punjab. Where should the rest of the states go, there is a gap left in punjab where a bridge needs to be built.
