Manju Sharma has been waiting for a lok sabha ticket for years. Manju was the state general secretary of bjp Mahila Morcha in Gujarat. After that, she was given national-level posts in BJP's Mahila Morcha. Not only this, bjp had fielded him from the Hawamahal assembly seat in the year 2008. But in that election, Manju was defeated by a margin of 400 votes. She has been working continuously in the party since 2008. There was talk of giving him a ticket from Hawamahal in the 2023 assembly elections. Sources say that this time his name has been approved by PM narendra modi himself. Since many candidates were seeking tickets from jaipur lok sabha seat. By giving ticket to a woman from jaipur, bjp has made a big masterstroke.


Tickets given to these women

Apart from this, bjp has given a ticket to Anupgarh Municipal Council Chairperson priyanka Meghwal from the Ganganagar lok sabha seat. Jyoti Mirdha has been fielded from the Nagaur loksabha seat. mahima Singh has been made the candidate from Rajsamand and Manju Sharma from jaipur City. This time so far four women have got tickets. Out of which, except Nagaur, all are contesting lok sabha elections for the first time.
