JNUSU election results seem to be in favor of ABVP...


JNU students Union elections have been held in the capital Delhi, in which about 73 percent of voting has taken place. It is being told that this time the highest turnout has taken place in JNUSU elections in the last 12 years. After four years, voting was held in JNUSU in which more than 7,700 registered voters cast their votes through secret voting. The process of counting votes continues after the elections. At present the counting of 2000+ ballots has been completed while 4200+ ballots are still left. ABVP continues to lead on the posts of President, Vice President, General Secretary and Joint Secretary.


ABVP ahead for the post of president

According to the counting of votes so far, Abhijeet Kumar (INDP) has got 17 votes, Afroz Alam (CRJD) 7, Aradhana Yadav (SCS) 38, vishwajeet Minji (BAPSA) 90, Dhananjay (Left) 737, Junaid Raza (NSUI) ) got 83 votes, Sarthak nayak (Disha) got 29 votes and Umesh Chandra Ajmira (ABVP) got 812 votes. Whereas 66 votes have been cast in NOTA.


Vice President seat deepika Sharma ahead

Ankur Rai (INDP) contesting for Vice President has got 472 votes, Avijit Ghosh (Left) has got 636 votes, deepika Sharma (ABVP) has got 661 votes, Mohammad Anas (BAPSA) has got 194 votes while NOTA has got 72 votes.

ABVP is ahead on the General Secretary seat also

For the post of General Secretary, ABVP's arjun Anand has got 917 votes while 181 votes have been cast in support of Fareen Zaidi (NSUI). Whereas, Priyanshi Arya (BAPSA, Left supported) got 754 votes. Apart from this, 89 votes were also cast in NOTA. At the same time, six votes have been found invalid.
