Hemant Soren in judicial custody till April 4

Reportedly Kalpana Soren, wife of jailed former jharkhand Chief minister hemant Soren, on friday criticized the central government over the arrest of delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal, saying that the current state of governance is dictatorial. Kalpana, who came into active politics after hemant was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to the alleged land scam, said, “Governance has become dictatorship. Every corner of the country has become a testimony to their atrocities.”

Meanwhile in a post on 'X', Kalpana indirectly attacked the Center and bjp and said, "They think that by arresting the public leaders leading crores of people, they will sit on the throne. The self-respecting, fearless people of the country will give a befitting reply to their delusion and arrogance. 'India' will not bow down."

Moreover aam aadmi party national convenor kejriwal was arrested by the ED on thursday night in a money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the excise policy. JMM on thursday termed Kejriwal's arrest as the "end of democracy" in the country and attacked the Center for the similar arrest of hemant Soren a month ago. JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya launched a scathing attack on the Center for 'scripting the arrest', saying that all opposition parties and those who are vocal will meet the same fate. He demanded that the election notification be canceled as 'this is the end of democracy in india and there is no need for elections now.' hemant was arrested by the central agency on january 31. A special court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on thursday extended Hemant's judicial custody till april 4.
