In this, he spent Rs 11 thousand of his own money, while he received Rs 10 lakh from bjp, while help of Rs 26 lakh 79 thousand 584 was received in the form of loan, gift or donation from various institutions, individuals and bodies etc.
Moreover according to the affidavit given to the election Commission, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, who was the bhopal candidate in 2019, had spent Rs 10 lakh 85 thousand 486 on public meetings, rallies and processions. Whereas Rs 6 lakh 29 thousand 883 were spent on print and electronic media. Rs 7 lakh 37 thousand 150 were spent on the election vehicle for publicity. Rs 2 lakh 8 thousand 582 were spent on party workers. In this way, he had spent Rs 45 lakh 46 thousand 582 in the entire election. It is noteworthy that Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur was in the fray as a candidate from bharatiya janata party in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He defeated congress candidate Digvijay Singh by more than three and a half lakh votes.
