How many MLAs does which party have now for Jharkhand Assembly?

As per report by-elections for Gandey assembly constituency in jharkhand will be held on May 20 along with the state parliamentary elections. Gandey seat of Giridih district has become vacant after the resignation of jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) mla Sarfaraz Ahmed. JMM leader Sarfaraz and bharatiya janata party (BJP) leader Pradeep Verma were elected unopposed to the rajya sabha from jharkhand on march 14.

Earlier on december 31, a notification from the assembly Secretariat had said that the public is being informed that the jharkhand assembly Speaker has accepted the resignation of Gandey mla Sarfaraz Ahmed. This seat is vacant from december 31, 2023.

Perhaps in the 81-member jharkhand assembly, the JMM-led ruling alliance has 47 MLAs, while the bjp has 26 and the All jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) has three. Apart from this, there is one mla each from congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='nationalist congress party-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">nationalist congress party (NCP) and communist party of india (Marxist-Leninist), two independents and one nominated member. The ruling alliance includes 29 MLAs from JMM, 17 from congress and one mla from Rashtriya Janata Dal.

The election dates have been announced by the election commission on Saturday. There are 14 lok sabha seats in Jharkhand. Voting will take place here in four phases. Voting will be held for lok sabha seats in jharkhand on 13 May, 20 May, 25 May and 1 June. elections will be held in Khunti, Lohardaga, Singhbhum and Palamu on 13 May. Voting will be held in Koderma, Chatra and Hazaribagh on 20th May. Voting will be held on May 25 in Ranchi, Dhanbad, jamshedpur and Dhanbad. After this, in the seventh phase, voting will be held in Rajmahal, Godda and Dumka on june 1. After this, on june 4, counting of votes will take place simultaneously in the entire country and the election results will be declared.
