Big relief to father of rebel leader and independent MLA

father of Gagret mla chaitanya Sharma and independent mla from hamirpur ashish Sharma have got a big relief from himachal pradesh High Court. The high court has granted interim anticipatory bail to mla chaitanya Sharma's father and independent mla ashish Sharma. Judge Ranjan Sharma has given this relief to both the applicants after the preliminary hearing of the anticipatory bail petition filed by Rakesh Sharma and ashish Sharma.

Apart from this, the judge ordered that he should register his presence at Baluganj police station on march 15 and cooperate in the investigation. Both of them have been accused of vote-buying and transactions worth crores in the rajya sabha elections. Political turmoil has increased in the state after a case was registered against the father of rebel congress mla chaitanya Sharma and independent mla ashish Sharma.

Case registered under these sections

According to the facts given in the petitions, a case has been registered against congress rebel and Gagret mla chaitanya Sharma's father Rakesh Sharma and independent hamirpur mla ashish Sharma at Shimla's Baluganj police Station. A case has been registered against both of them under sections 420, 171 A, 171 C, 120 B of the IPC and sections 7 and 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to the complaint lodged by congress MLAs Sanjay Awasthi and Bhuvneshwar Gaur, the rebel MLA's father and the independent mla have wrongly influenced the rajya sabha elections. The complainants have accused both of them of vote buying, bribery and money transactions. It has been said in the complaint that the accused conspired to topple the government. The complainants have also demanded an investigation of the bank accounts of Hamirpur's independent mla ashish Sharma and the father of disqualified mla chaitanya Sharma. Hearing on both the petitions will be held on march 16.
