CM Yogi expressed gratitude to PM on implementation of CAA
Before the lok sabha elections, the citizenship amendment act (CAA) has been implemented in the country by the narendra modi government at the Centre. Modi government has also issued a notification for this. Uttar Pradesh chief minister yogi Adityanath has also reacted to the caa implemented by the Modi government at the Centre. cm yogi Adityanath, while posting on X, has expressed his gratitude to prime minister narendra modi and home minister amit Shah.
cm yogi posted on X and wrote - "The decision to implement the Citizenship (Amendment) Act for the welfare of the suffering humanity is historic. This has paved the way for a dignified life of the minority community suffering from religious brutality in Pakistan, bangladesh and Afghanistan. Gratitude to Honorable prime minister narendra modi and thanks to Honorable home minister amit shah for this heartening humanitarian decision! Hearty congratulations to all the brothers and sisters who are going to get indian citizenship under this Act!
Let us tell you that there was a delay in implementing caa due to Corona. However, last month Union home minister amit shah had also indicated that caa will be implemented before the upcoming lok sabha elections. Let us tell you that the citizenship amendment act was an integral part of BJP's 2019 manifesto and bjp has implemented it. The caa was passed by both houses of parliament on december 11, 2019 and was approved by the President a day later.
