The statement of state bjp President Chandrashekhar Bawankule has come to light amid reports of differences regarding seat sharing for the lok sabha elections within the Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra. Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that victory is the only criterion in the seat distribution of Mahayuti. All the parties included in the grand alliance will get respectable seats.

State bjp President Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, "The final decision regarding seat sharing in Mahayuti has not been taken yet. Initial discussions have been positive. Seat sharing will be decided by march 11-12. 45 lok sabha of maharashtra under the leadership of PM narendra Modi. There is no formula other than how to win seats. All three parties will work together for their victory." It is noteworthy that bjp, chief minister Eknath Shinde's shiv sena and Ajit Pawar's nationalist congress party are the main allies in the Mahayuti alliance.

Total 48 lok sabha seats in Maharashtra

According to sources in cm Shinde's shiv sena and Ajit Pawar's ncp, both the parties want 22 and 10 seats respectively. There are total 48 lok sabha seats in Maharashtra. Let us tell you that Union home minister amit shah was also on a visit to the state recently, where he held a meeting with chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar in Mumbai. In this meeting, cm Shinde's demand for seats of shiv sena and ncp was discussed. However, the source said that no consensus could be reached in this meeting regarding seat allocation.
