In which the assembly constituency of chief minister arvind kejriwal includes New delhi, Karol Bagh, patel Nagar, Moti Nagar, delhi Cantt, Rajendra Nagar, Kasturba Nagar, Malviya Nagar, rk Puram and Greater Kailash. Since the first elections held on this seat in 1952, a total of 19 elections have been held, out of which bjp has won this seat maximum 10 times and has also given tough competition to the opposition parties on many occasions.

In the elections held so far, a woman candidate has won this seat 4 times. The glory of these four victories was tied to the heads of two women, the first of whom was Sucheta Kripalani, who won the first and second consecutive lok sabha elections.
