Delhi's Rouse Revenue court on thursday issued summons to delhi chief minister arvind kejriwal and asked him to appear on march 16. Before this, ED i.e. Directorate of Reflection has also issued summons to him eight times in connection with the excise scam case, but arvind kejriwal did not appear on any of the summons. bjp was also attacking on this issue. Now the court has issued summons and said that under any circumstances, arvind kejriwal will have to appear on march 16.

It is shameful not to appear before summons.

When the democratically elected chief minister of the country does not go after being issued a notice by an institution of the same democracy. And not going in violation of the summons sent is a very shameful situation. Law is supreme in the state and country, nothing is greater than it. Kejriwal's not going even after the summons shows that somewhere he is considering himself above the law.

kejriwal believes that the summons sent is wrong. But whether the summons is right or wrong, when a notice is sent by any institution in a democratic state, then it should be the responsibility of the person of that state to cooperate in the case of investigation. It is unfortunate that arvind kejriwal does not appear even after eight mitigations, calling the ED summons illegal, but is Kejriwal's decision correct whether the summons is correct or not. Do they have the right to decide this? According to the Constitution, there is every organ, there is Judiciary, it will work, it will tell whether the summons is valid or illegal.
