Will Ram Rahim be not given parole without the permission of the court?

Reportedly the punjab and haryana high court has taken a tough stance on the repeated parole being granted to Dera Sachcha Sauda Chief Gurmeet ram Rahim Singh. The court said that in future, ram Rahim should not be given parole without the permission of the court. The court also said that ram Rahim should surrender on the day his parole period is ending. Let us tell you that ram Rahim's parole is ending on march 10.

Perhaps the high court asked the haryana government in a strong tone to tell how many other prisoners have been given parole like the Dera Chief. The high court has ordered the haryana government to present complete information in the next hearing in the case. Actually, SGPC had filed a petition in the high court against the parole given to ram Rahim. Apart from this, many more petitions were received. While hearing the matter, the court has given orders to the haryana government.

On the other hand, SGPC says that many serious cases are registered against the Dera chief and after being found guilty in these, he has also been sentenced. Despite this, haryana government is giving parole to Dera Mukhi which is completely wrong. Therefore, the parole given to Dera Mukhi should be cancelled. Let us tell you that the Dera chief has been granted parole nine times in the last four years. So far, ram Rahim has been granted parole in october 2020, May 2021, february 2022, june 2022, october 2022, january 2023, July 2023, november 2023 and january 2024. ram Rahim has been convicted of a serious crime. ram Rahim was accused of raping female followers and in 2017 he was sentenced to 20 years in jail. Whereas in the year 2019, he was sentenced to life imprisonment in the case of murder of employee Ranjit Singh. Apart from this, the Dera chief was also found guilty of murder of a journalist. In this case, he was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2021.
