Amit Shah praised PM Modi by mentioning sugarcane farmers

The central government has announced to increase the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of sugarcane. Union home minister amit shah has praised PM narendra modi regarding this. On thursday (22 February), amit shah praised PM Modi by tweeting. He wrote on microblogging site The FRP for the purchase of sugarcane has been increased by 8 percent and the FRP has been fixed at Rs 340 per quintal.

In his tweet, he has said that I express my heartfelt gratitude to PM Modi for this decision taken in the interest of more than 5 crore sugarcane farmers of the country. Along with this, Union home minister amit shah also expressed happiness over getting approval from the central government to allocate an amount of Rs 4100 crore for Flood Management and Border Area Programme. He has also praised PM narendra modi for this.

central government has increased the price by Rs 25 per quintal

In fact, amidst the farmers' delhi Chalo march, the central government has taken a big decision regarding the purchase of sugarcane. In the Central cabinet meeting held on wednesday (February 21), approval has been given to increase the price of sugarcane purchase by Rs 25 per quintal. The price of sugarcane purchase will be increased from Rs 315 per quintal to Rs 340 per quintal. PM Modi himself has also reacted to this decision of the government. PM Modi has said that the government is committed to the welfare of farmers.

Let us tell you that with this approval, sugar mills will pay the rate of Rs 340 per quintal on recovery of sugarcane FRP of 10.25 percent. With every 0.1 per cent increase in recovery, farmers will get an additional price of Rs 3.32, while the same amount will be deducted for every 0.1 per cent decrease in recovery.
