20 thousand runners in marathon, CM Khattar will be present

A big event named Gurugram Marathon is going to be held on 25th february in Cyber City Gurugram adjacent to Delhi. More than 20 thousand runners will participate in this event in different categories. chief minister Manohar Lal will encourage the participants of the Gurugram Marathon as the chief guest.

Gurugram DC Nishant Kumar Yadav shared this information with reporters in the conference hall located at mini Secretariat on monday (February 12). On the lines of such events organized in major cities of the country like delhi and Mumbai, Gurugram Marathon will also be an annual event of Cyber City. More than three and a half thousand professional runners have registered themselves on Gurugrammarathon.com to participate in the Gurugram Marathon.

The event was divided into four categories

DC Nishant Kumar Yadav said that the entire event has been divided into four categories. In which the reporting time for the full marathon of 42.2 kilometers will be 4 am. This marathon will be flagged off at 4.30 am. Citizens above 18 years of age can participate in this. In the second category, half marathon of 21.1 will be held at 6.30 am. Citizens above 14 years of age will be able to participate in this category in which reporting time has been kept at 6 am. In the third category, a 10 kilometer run will be organized, which will start at 7.30 am.

In this, the reporting time has been kept at 6.30 am. Citizens above 12 years of age will be able to participate in it. DC said that a 5 kilometer fun run will be organized in the last and fourth category of the event. Whose reporting time will be 7.30 am and it will be flagged off by the chief guest at 8:30 am. The closing time in all categories has been fixed at 10 am. DC said that the expo will be organized at Leisure Valley Park on 22nd and 23rd february, two days before the main event. In which stalls related to sports and fitness will be set up.
