Why CM Nitish Kumar said goodbye to Grand Alliance and joined NDA?

As per report bihar cm nitish kumar met PM narendra modi in Delhi. This was his first meeting with PM Modi after forming the government with BJP. After this meeting, cm nitish kumar met bjp President JP Nadda. After this meeting he spoke to the media and said that now he will not leave BJP. He also answered the question regarding seat sharing with bjp in the lok sabha elections. While answering the questions of journalists, cm nitish kumar said, "We (BJP-JDU) have been together since 1995." Had moved here and there twice in between but will never go here again, will stay there, will not move here and there now. On the question of seat sharing, bihar cm Nitish said, "There is no point in talking about it." It will be done. He knows everything from the beginning.

Meanwhile in the 2020 assembly elections, bjp had won 78 seats, JDU 43 and RJD 79 seats. bjp and JDU had formed the government together but in august 2022, nitish kumar once again made a coup and the Grand Alliance government which includes congress and RJD was returned. On the other hand, talks were going on regarding seat sharing in the indian alliance when nitish kumar distanced himself from the grand alliance.

Moreover cm nitish kumar had said goodbye to the Grand Alliance and joined the NDA. government has been formed with bjp but neither the floor test has taken place in the assembly nor the cabinet has been expanded, whereas the floor test of the new government will also take place in the assembly next monday i.e. on 12th February. There are 40 lok sabha seats in bihar and in the 2019 lok sabha elections, JDU contested the elections along with BJP. The nda alliance had won 39 out of 40 seats, out of which bjp had won 17, JDU 16 and LJP six.
