The recent announcement of Padma Vibhushan awards by the BJP-led central government has honoured two prominent figures from Telugu-speaking regions: former Vice President M. venkaiah naidu and tollywood legend Chiranjeevi. The telangana government promptly acknowledged and honoured these awardees. Now, attention turns to andhra pradesh, where speculation arises about chief minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy's response.

Given that both chiranjeevi and venkaiah naidu hail from andhra pradesh, there are expectations that the state government will extend its acknowledgment. chiranjeevi, from west godavari district, and venkaiah naidu, from nellore district, have been recognized with the prestigious Padma Vibhushan awards.

While jagan and chiranjeevi have a positive rapport, having met previously to discuss issues related to the telugu film industry, the specific response from the ap government remains uncertain. The option of extending civil honours to both awardees is being considered, although the political dynamics between venkaiah naidu and the ycp government might pose challenges.

Venkaiah Naidu has made comments critical of the english education system promoted by the ycp government, while the government has, in turn, offered indirect counters. The election season in andhra pradesh further complicates the situation, as political leaders may be inclined to use this opportunity for strategic interactions. There is speculation about jagan visiting Chiranjeevi's residence to honour him and the possibility of a similar gesture towards venkaiah Naidu.

In summary, the nature of the government's response to these Padma Vibhushan awardees, particularly chiranjeevi, is closely watched, given the political context and relationships involved.
