An app will be made to monitor potholes on roads in MP

Monitoring of potholes on roads in madhya pradesh will now be done through 'Potholes Reporting Citizen mobile App'. Through this app, common citizens will be able to give information to the department by taking geotagged photos of potholes from their mobile. This will help in timely identification of potholes and immediate rectification.

madhya pradesh Public Works minister rakesh singh discussed this mobile app with departmental officials in Bhopal. During this, rakesh singh said that through the Pothole Reporting Citizen mobile App, common citizens will be able to inform the department by taking geotagged photos of potholes from their mobile. The photo of the potholes along with the GPS location will be received by the concerned Executive Engineer.

'Use of new technology as much as possible'

After this, after improving the road within the time limit, the concerned executive engineer will again take its photo from the mobile app. In this way the road work will be done and the concerned citizen will also get information about it. rakesh singh said that monitoring and resolution of complaints will be ensured from the state level. The minister also directed to prepare this app soon and put it into use. Public Works minister rakesh singh has directed that maximum use of new technology should be made in departmental work.

Plan to build roads using FDR technology

It was told that the department is planning to construct the road using the new technology FDR (Full Depth Reclamation) technology. Under this, without removing the existing road, the road is constructed using reclamation material by many machines. In this, along with saving time, the construction cost is reduced by 15 to 30%. In the meeting, the minister also talked about considering using FDR technology on urban routes.
