Gyanvapi News: Feb 2 became a memorable day for Kashi

These days, the case of Kashi Gyanvapi is in the headlines across the country. On one hand, two different parties are presenting their arguments for the Gyanvapi complex in the court premises and are claiming the ancient history of the complex as being related to their religion. On the other hand, a different picture was seen on 2nd february when along with having darshan in the basement which was open since 31st January, Namaz was also offered in the same premises.

However, the city of Kashi is also known for ganga Jamuna culture. people of every religion live here and this coincidence being built in the Gyanvapi complex is also being seen as an example of the same. The police had also made strict security arrangements regarding the court hearing and orders of the cases related to the Gyanvapi complex. While on one hand the checking was increased through drones and barricading system, on the other hand the people of the city were being advised to avoid rumors and misleading things.

'Crowds gathered for prayers and prayers'

After the order of varanasi District court, darshan puja has started in the basement located in the south of Gyanvapi campus. According to the information received on february 2, lakhs of devotees worshiped the idols kept in the basement from outside. Apart from this, thousands of worshipers had also gathered at the Gyanvapi campus for the first friday prayers after the basement order. During this time, a unique picture was seen when at 1:00 pm in the mosque located in Gyanvapi complex, where the devotees offered namaz, a large number of devotees also performed darshan worship in the same basement. It is very rare to see that the traditions of two different religions are followed together under one roof.
