Hemant Soren's arrest case is ED and its 4 officers?
1. Kapil Raj- In the FIR filed by hemant Soren, the first name to be mentioned is that of ED officer Kapil Raj. raj currently heads the ranchi zone of the Enforcement Directorate. Under Raj's supervision, many high-profile cases including illegal mining scam, land scam and mla cash scam are being investigated in Jharkhand. raj has also recently received a one-year deputation from the Finance Ministry.
2. Devvrat Jha- Devvrat Jha is currently the Assistant director of Enforcement Directorate. Devvrat Jha is also the Investigation Officer (IO) of the land scam case in which ED is investigating against hemant Soren.
According to a report in Times of India, in 2022, Jha was also sued by hemant Soren's representative Pankaj Mishra. There has been a case against Jha in bengal also. Jha got X category security in november 2023. Before Jharkhand, Devvrat Jha was posted in Bengal. There also he had investigated many big cases.
3. Anupam Kumar- Anupam Kumar is also in the ED team that arrested hemant Soren. Kumar is currently a promoter officer and is posted in Jharkhand. hemant has also filed a complaint against Anupam in the SC-ST police station. Anupam came into limelight in 2023, when his phone was snatched in the court premises. At that time, mp Vijay Hansda and hemant Soren's representative Pankaj Mishra were present in the court premises.
4. Aman Patel- patel is currently working in the ranchi team of the Enforcement Directorate and his post is of Assistant Officer. patel is counted as a dynamic and young officer in ED. patel is also active in the investigation of the land scam case and his name is also in the FIR lodged by hemant Soren. patel also played an important role in arresting hemant Soren's representative Pankaj Mishra.
