Politics: Protest intensifies over Rajkumar Roat's statement

The opposition to the statement given by Bharatiya Tribal party (BPT) mla Rajkumar Roat from Chaurasi assembly of Dungarpur district on the characters of Ramayana has intensified. Many organizations have protested and demanded action. In fact, mla Rajkumar Roat, while talking to the media in jaipur during the assembly session, had described the characters of Ramayana as imaginary. After this it seems that tribal organizations are protesting.

Know what the organizations said and what the demands were

 In this matter, the officials of Dungarpur's Tribal religion culture Security Forum have given a memorandum to the collector in the name of the Governor. Official Subhash Rot said that according to the memorandum, mla Rajkumar Rot gave a statement calling Ramayana and the characters of Ramayana imaginary. Our religious sentiments have been hurt by his calling the characters of Ramayana imaginary.

 Even on the pages of the indian Constitution, the creator of the Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has sketched the pictures of Lord Shri ram considering him as the ideal of India's moral, cultural and political values. Our greeting in daily life is Ram-Ram. Because of his great works he is our role model.

 By calling our great men imaginary by mla Rajkumar Rot, the sentiments of our Sanatani tribal Hindu community and the entire Hindu society have been hurt. According to Section 995A of the indian Penal Code 1880, if any person does any act or makes any such statement with malicious intent with the intention of hurting the religion or religious sentiments of any section of the indian society, he will be considered guilty. This statement has hurt the sentiments of the entire Sanatani society of India. Therefore, action should be taken against it as per law. Apart from these, the youth of Kotra tribal area of udaipur district have also given a memorandum to the Governor. He has demanded registration of FIR for hurting religious sentiments.
