Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the interim budget that india has been waiting for. While the general elections are going to be held in the next few months, she listed the achievements of the Modi government in the last 10 years during the budget presentation. While presenting the budget, the Union Finance minister said that in the last 10 years, government schemes have helped 25 crore people to come out of poverty by focusing on the poor, women, youth, and farmers through the schemes of the central government such as Garib Kalyana Yojana, Mahilaye, Yuva, Annadada.
Following this, the average income of the people of india has increased by 50 percent in the last 10 years. The economy is doing well, especially manufacturing, and the export trade is up big.
And the savings and investments of the people are more secure than ever. Income tax reform works have increased the number of income taxpayers in the country. Also, through GST, the structure of one country, one market, and one tax has been implemented, said Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman. In this Budget, it is said vaccination program for women will be started for cervical cancer also.
