Reportedly in maharashtra, bjp has taken two big leaders Eknath Shinde and ajit pawar into its camp. Last year, in 2023, ajit pawar rebelled against sharad pawar and took oath as deputy chief minister in the Shiv Sena-BJP government. Along with him, senior ncp leader Chhagan Bhujbal also took oath as minister.

As per report maharashtra is the second largest state in terms of lok sabha seats. There are a total of 48 lok sabha seats here. bjp and shiv sena contested the 2019 elections together. bjp contested elections on 25 seats, out of which it won 23 seats (27.84% vote share). Sharad Pawar-led ncp had won four seats on its own with 16 percent vote share. With ajit pawar, Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal, dilip Kolse Patil and other stalwarts in its camp, bjp has ensured that in 2024, nda will comfortably cross the 40 percent vote share mark in Maharashtra.

In maharashtra, shiv sena, UBT, ncp and congress are going to contest elections together. In such a situation, these three parties may create problems for BJP. Ajit Pawar's rebellion is also being seen as an attempt to reduce this threat. However, the results of ABP CVoter Opinion Poll show that congress and its allies will emerge as a major party in the lok sabha elections 2024. They will get 26 to 28 seats. bjp may get 19-21 seats. Others may lose 0-2 seats. In terms of vote share also, india alliance seems to be leading. congress Plus can get 41% votes and bjp Plus can get 37% votes. 22% voters are seen going to the accounts of other parties.
