Samrat Choudhary of the bjp takes oath as minister...

On sunday, nitish kumar became the ninth chief minister of bihar in history. He also resigned and severed his relationship with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on the same day. Two bjp leaders, Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, also took the oath as deputy chief ministers when he rejoined the BJP-led NDA. Along with an independent MLA, the list of ministers who took the oath on sunday included members of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) party. nitish kumar delivered a crushing blow to the opposition group india by leaving the Mahagathbandhan, which he had joined less than 18 months prior.

The grand coalition government in bihar is about to fall apart, the party's political advisor and spokesperson K C Tyagi said reporters in Delhi. Additionally, he charged that certain congress leaders were continuously "insulting" Kumar. "The alliance of india bloc parties is almost over in Punjab, West Bengal, and Bihar. The collapse of the india bloc is imminent," he declared.

The salient features of the latest political happenings in bihar are as follows:

The state's three main political parties, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), the Janata Dal-United (JD-U), and the bharatiya janata party (BJP), resumed their discussions with their lawmakers throughout the day on Saturday.

Extensive discussions continued till late tonight in JD(U), which accused the congress of defaming Kumar, in the bjp, regarding how to welcome Kumar back, in RJD, the majority party in the legislative assembly, regarding how to maintain all ground in any circumstance that may emerge in bihar on Sunday.

The JD (U) met informally with legislators over tea on saturday night before calling a gathering of its lawmakers for Sunday.

According to those with knowledge of the JD(U) and BJP's deliberations, the latter suggested renu Devi and Tarkishore prasad for the deputy chief minister positions. Kumar, however, is more likely to choose sushil modi than Prasad.

The LJP (Ram Vilas) and HAM-S, the BJP's two alliance allies, appear uneasy about the developments, though.
