The bjp said it is looking forward to suggestions from indian citizens as those will effectively “shape” the party’s manifesto. “How should BJP’s manifesto be? You can send suggestions related to this directly to prime minister Narendra Modi through NaMo app,” it said.

Prime Minister Modi’s social media post about the bjp manifesto came on the occasion of National Voters’ Day, for which he also urged those who have not yet registered themselves as voters to do so. “Greetings on National Voters Day, an occasion which celebrates our vibrant democracy and also a day to encourage people to register as voters, if they haven’t already,” he said on X. Since 2011, the National Voters’ Day has been celebrated on january 25 every year to mark the foundation day of the election commission (EC). In a virtual address to young voters organized by the youth wing of the ruling bjp, PM Modi said they have the responsibility of making the country developed in the next 25 years in the same way the young generation during the 25 years before Independence had for its freedom. He said his government had taken the country out of the darkness staring at youngsters 10 to 12 years back.
