Police investigating the Bank Robbery in Araria, Bihar
Recently fearless criminals committed bank robbery in Araria, bihar on tuesday (January 23). The incident took place at Axis bank located at ADB Chowk in Araria city. Six criminals had reached the bank with weapons. The miscreants carried out the bank robbery with the help of weapons. During this period, two rounds of firing are also being said. After receiving information about the incident, SP ashok kumar Singh reached the spot. The case is being investigated.
Meanwhile the customers including banks have also been looted. This incident is said to have happened around 11.30 pm. The miscreants locked the bank employees and customers in the chest room of the bank and then carried out the robbery. The miscreants are said to have looted more than Rs 90 lakh. However, the amount will be known after investigation. On the spot, apart from Araria SP, SDPO Rampukar Singh and City police station Head nirmal kumar Yadvendu reached the bank with heavy police force. Let us tell you that earlier on 27 May 2022, miscreants had targeted bank of India.
Hence regarding this incident, manager neeraj kumar said that after the opening of the bank, the miscreants had arrived with weapons around 11 and 11:30. On the basis of this, all the employees including the customers present in the bank were locked in the chest room of the bank. After this, along with the money kept in the bank, the customers who came to deposit the money were also looted. During the robbery, the miscreants also fired two rounds inside the bank.
customer Pintu Kumar told that he had come to the bank to deposit money. The miscreants looted Rs 1.5 lakh from him. Money has also been looted from many women. The police are avoiding saying anything on this matter. SP has said to investigate. However, the press release issued by Araria district police has not stated the exact amount of the loot.
