Our vote percentage also decreases- Mayawati?
Accordingly Bahujan Samaj party national president mayawati had recently announced that her party will contest the lok sabha elections alone. Meanwhile, now BSP supremo mayawati has called a special meeting of all senior BSP officials and district presidents etc. of Uttar Pradesh and uttarakhand on saturday (January 20). In this meeting of BSP to be held at 11 am in the BSP office, Lucknow, there will be a review/discussion especially on the preparations for the upcoming lok sabha elections 2024 and the selection of candidates for the same. Along with this, necessary guidelines will be given for further preparations related to the elections. Recently, on the occasion of her birthday, mayawati had clearly said in front of the media that BSP will not form an alliance with anyone in the 2024 elections. Fighting lok sabha elections alone will bring better results. During this, mayawati had said that elections in alliance cause loss to our party.
Meanwhile along with this, mayawati had said that by forming an alliance, our vote percentage also decreases and other parties benefit. Therefore, most of the parties want to contest elections in alliance with BSP. Our party will bring better results by contesting the lok sabha elections alone. We contest elections alone because its supreme leadership is in the hands of a Dalit.
BSP gets less benefit from alliance, more loss
mayawati had said that by forming an alliance, the entire vote of BSP goes to the alliance party, whereas BSP does not get the vote of that alliance, especially the upper caste vote. BSP gets less benefit and more loss from the alliance. He said that upper caste votes are not transferred to BSP. Therefore BSP will not form an alliance with anyone. Will keep distance from communally minded parties. The mentality of most parties is casteist.
