144 will be enforced because of the ram temple ceremony...

On Saturday, the gautam Buddh nagar police said that from january 21 to 26, restrictions under Section 144 of the Code of criminal Procedure (CrPC) will be in effect throughout noida and Greater Noida. The directive was given during the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya's ram temple on january 22 and Republic Day celebrations on january 26. According to news agency PTI, which cited an order from Additional DCP (law and order) Hridesh Katheriya, the restrictions include a ban on unauthorised processions, protests, and unlawful assemblies of five or more individuals.

"On january 22, Shri ram mandir Pran Pratishtha's live broadcast is set to coincide with the diwali celebration. Then there will be Republic Day celebrations on january 26 and the late Hazrat Ali's birth anniversary on january 25, according to a quote from Katheriya. According to him, it is imperative to stop mischievous individuals from engaging in any action that could lead to the creation of an unfavourable environment. In addition to these, there are also certain types of protests and demonstrations that are occasionally proposed by different organisations and farmers, he said.

The Additional DCP stated in the order that due to the urgency of the matter and the limited time available, it was not possible to grant any other party an opportunity to be heard. Therefore, this order is issued ex parte. He said, "The order would be in effect from january 21 to january 26 (six days).  The Joint Commissioner of police in Lucknow, upendra Kumar Agarwal, stated that prohibitory orders were issued "in view of the ram mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony on january 22, Republic Day, and upcoming festivals" and that they were made using the authority provided by Section 144 CrPC. In Lucknow, Section 144 is in effect through march 18, 2024, unless the order is overturned beforehand.
