A nutritious biryani flavored 'chickpea rice' recipe for your child's lunch..!
First soak the chickpeas overnight. After waking up in the morning, strain the water in it.Then soak basmati rice for 15 minutes and take it.After this, heat oil in a pressure cooker and add biryani leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, fennel and cloves. With theseAdd finely chopped onion and saute until golden.Then add ginger-garlic paste and saute until the green smell goes away.Now add chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder. Stir well. Add chana masala powder to these.After the masala aroma goes away, add the chopped tomatoes and stir occasionally until the tomatoes are cooked.Now add mint leaves, coriander leaves and green chillies.Then add the soaked chickpeas and mix well.Then add the rice. Add 1.5 water to 1 cup rice and cover till 2 whistles.Now delicious biryani flavored chickpea rice is ready..!!
