Earlier on wednesday (January 10), police arrested 40-year-old Parmeshwar Manjhi with two liters of country liquor from Runipur village of Akbarpur police station area of the district. An FIR was registered under the Excise Act and he was sent to jail in judicial custody. He was bringing and selling liquor from jharkhand for four months and the police got wind of it. During interrogation, Parmeshwar Manjhi gave such reasons that even the police were shocked to hear them.

Meanwhile Parmeshwar Manjhi, arrested in liquor smuggling case, said that he has been selling liquor for only four months. He has earned around 30 to 40 thousand rupees so far. Some of the money was spent on household chores and some of the money was saved for her daughter's marriage. Parmeshwar Manjhi said that he used to earn Rs 300 every day from a private job, but this was not enough to sustain his family. Even money was not being saved for the daughter's marriage. After this he started this business.

Father said- 'Daughter's marriage was to be done in March'. Parmeshwar Manjhi told that his daughter was to get married in March. This had been planned. After being arrested, Parmeshwar Manjhi's blood pressure increased significantly. police took him to Sadar Hospital. He was treated for an hour and then sent to jail in judicial custody. In this matter, Excise Superintendent Anil Kumar azad said that the law of prohibition is equal for everyone. Action will be taken against those who break this law. Parmeshwar Manjhi has been arrested with two liters of liquor under the Excise Act. Has been sent to jail in judicial custody.
