The picture regarding seat distribution in 'India' alliance is not yet clear. While nda seems to be relaxed about seat sharing, there is a tussle over seat sharing in the 'India' alliance. Meanwhile, janata dal united (JDU) in bihar once again made it clear on monday that it cannot make any compromise on the sitting 16 seats. Senior JDU leader and bihar Energy minister Vijendra Yadav has said that JDU will contest on 16 seats, there will be no compromise on this. After this, the remaining seats in bihar should be divided between RJD, congress and Left parties. He said that our agreement is with RJD. congress and left parties were already with RJD. Even after 16 seats, there are still 24 seats left, which is not less. Other parties should divide those seats among themselves.

Final decision has not been taken yet- Akhilesh prasad Singh

Earlier on Sunday, congress held a meeting with RJD regarding seat sharing in Bihar. For the first time, a meeting was held between congress and RJD regarding the seat sharing formula in Bihar. After the meeting was over, bihar congress President Akhilesh prasad Singh said that the final decision has not been taken yet. It is noteworthy that congress had contested on 9 seats in the last elections, but only one seat, Kishanganj, came to its account. The seats on which congress stood second are its strongest seats. JDU candidates had won on many such seats. In such a situation, both the parties are adamant on their conditions.
