Know about Political alliance of JDU and RJD

Reportedly there is turmoil in the politics of bihar these days. There is talk of JDU National President Lalan Singh leaving the post. At present, a grand alliance government is running in bihar with JDU and RJD. What do the people of the state think amid this political turmoil? Regarding this, CVoter has conducted a quick survey for ABP. It was asked whether JDU and RJD should be merged?


Presently there has been mixed response from people in the survey. Only 32 percent people want that Nitish Kumar's party Janata Dal-United i.e. JDU and Lalu Yadav's party Rashtriya Janata Dal should be merged. 36 percent people are not in favor of it. He believes that this political merger should not happen in Bihar. Whereas 32 percent people have answered 'don't know'.

RJD has 79 MLAs in bihar Assembly while JDU has 45 MLAs. In august 2022, nitish kumar once again separated from the nda alliance and formed a grand alliance government with RJD. He took oath as the cm of the state for the 8th time while RJD mla and Lalu Yadav's son Tejashwi Yadav was made the Deputy CM. On the other hand, ever since nitish kumar has returned to bihar after the meeting of india Alliance in Delhi, there is speculation of change within his party. Meanwhile, nitish kumar has called a meeting of the National Executive and National Council. It is believed that a new national president may also be announced in this.
