In an interview given by local leader Salim Khan, "Savera Prakash, a woman candidate for public seats in pakistan, said that she would follow her father's footsteps and work for the underprivileged people of the region. He submitted his nomination on december 23. He also expressed hope that the senior leadership of the pakistan People's party will support his candidature," Salim said.
Savera Prakash, who belongs to a medical family, says, “Serving humanity is in my blood. During my medical studies, my dream was to become an MLA. I want to remove the bad management and helplessness in government hospitals,” he said. Recent amendments by the election commission of pakistan (ECP) make it mandatory to include five percent of women candidates in public places.
