Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, breaking his silence on his colleague devendra fadnavis open
letter regarding nawab malik, on wednesday said that chief minister Eknath Shinde has intervened to calm the
matter. devendra fadnavis had written a letter to Pawar earlier this month saying that the Bharatiya Janata Party
(BJP) was opposing the inclusion of former minister nawab malik in the Pawar-led Nationalist congress Party
(NCP) faction.
‘CM Shinde said – no one needs to worry’
deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, when asked about the letter while talking to the media after the end of the
House session, said, I received the letter. chief minister Eknath Shinde intervened and told me that no one
needed to worry. Referring to a famous film song, he jokingly said, After reading this my love letter, no one
should get angry.
‘BJP expressed objection’

congress party led by deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar. On behalf of deputy cm devendra fadnavis, a letter
was written to deputy cm Ajit Pawar objecting to Malik's entry in the ruling alliance of Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP.
On behalf of devendra fadnavis, it was said that as nawab malik is facing treason charges, it is not appropriate
to include him in the Mahayuti alliance. fadnavis further said through the letter that however, it is his right to
decide who to take with him in his party and who not. But justifying his opposition, fadnavis urged that he must
keep in mind that no one data-faces any problem if nawab malik joins the Mahayuti alliance. It is important to take
care of all colleagues.
