Rouse Avenue Court asks Congress leader for list of FIR registered
Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court heard the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case yesterday. The court has asked senior congress leader
and former Union minister Jagdish Tytler to give the complete list of cases registered by delhi Police and Central
Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Pul Bangash Sikh riots case. Asked to present.
The court has also asked him to file the results of the investigation. After this the court adjourned yesterday’s hearing.
Now the Rouse Avenue court has fixed the date of january 9, 2024 for the next hearing in this case.
Tytler has been denying all the allegations
Let us tell you that senior congress leader and former Union minister Jagdish Tytler is accused of instigating anti-
Sikh riots in the country’s capital after the assassination of former PM indira gandhi in 1984. It is a different
matter that in the case of Tytler, cbi had filed closure reports in 2007, 2009 and 2014. On the petition of
Lakhwinder Kaur, who lost her husband during the riots, the Karkardooma court of delhi filed all the closure
reports. The report was rejected. Jagdish Tytler has been denying his role in all other cases including Pul Bangash
riots from the beginning. Now the Rouse Avenue court has fixed the date of hearing in this case as 9 January
2023.
