Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnudeo Sai participated in the birth anniversary celebration and total celebration ofBaba Guru Ghasidas organized at Guru Ghasidas Central university, Bilaspur. While addressing the birthanniversary celebrations on this occasion, chief minister Sai said that baba Guru Ghasidas message of socialharmony and equality is more relevant and meaningful today. The effect of his preaching is that social harmony ismaintained in Chhattisgarh. chhattisgarh government will try to further strengthen social harmony by followingthe path shown by Baba. cm Sai released Pravartak bookOn this occasion, chief minister Vishnudeo Sai also released the book ‘Guru Ghasidas Satnam Panth KePravartak’ edited by the Vice Chancellor. cm Sai also honored the winning students of the competitions organizedby the university by giving them awards. ATEQ international President Dr. William Painter, Bilha MLADharamlal Kaushik, bilaspur mla amar Aggarwal, Beltara mla Sushant Shukla were present at the ceremonyas special guests.We are proud that there is a university named after baba Guru Ghasidas in our state - CMChief minister Vishnudev Sai wished everyone on baba Ghasidas Jayanti. He said that after becoming the ChiefMinister, this is his first program in Guru Ghasidas university under educational institutions. He congratulated theuniversity management for organizing the jubilee celebrations on a large scale. cm Sai said that in the 18thcentury, the feeling of social discrimination and untouchability was at its peak in the country. The feeling of highand low was deeply rooted in the society. In such circumstances baba Guru Ghasidas was born. He initiated socialharmony by preaching equality among all. We are proud that the only university in the entire country named afterBaba Guru Ghasidas is in Bilaspur.
