Vivek Ramasamy, the Republican candidate for the US presidential election to be held in 2024, has said that America can have a Hindu president. "What would you say to someone who says he can't be president of the united states because your religion doesn't match the religion of former US presidents?" vivek Ramasamy answered the question to Kanni Mitchell, a voter from Iowa.


He then said, "I am a Hindu. I will not fake my identity. hinduism and christianity have common values." He also said, "Based on my religious beliefs, I also understand that every person has a faith. Because god is within each of us. We are all equal." vivek Ramaswamy's Reply When Asked How US Could Have A "Hindu" President Is Viral. vivek Ramasamy also spoke about the common features of hinduism and Christianity.


"My upbringing was very traditional. Marriages are sacred, families are the foundation of society. Adultery is wrong. My parents taught me to give up something to enjoy the pleasures of life," he said. "If you ask me if I would be the best president to spread christianity in this country, I wouldn't be," he said, adding, "But I will always be on the side of America's fundamental values."


Vivek Ramaswamy, 38, is from southwest Ohio. His mother is a psychiatrist. His father worked as an engineer at General Electric. parents migrated to America from Kerala.
