Tight security arrangements at Makar Dwar at Parliament House after a security breach!?

As per report a local cobbler helped lok sabha intruder Sagar Sharma make a special cavity in his shoes to conceal smoke bombs as well as some pamphlets that the accused wanted to throw in parliament on wednesday when they jumped from the visitors’ gallery, triggering panic among MPs. Top Intelligence sources have told CNN-News18 that as per the last-minute plan of the four arrested accused including a man and a woman who protested outside parliament Sharma and Manoranjan would enter the lok sabha along with the canister that was purchased in Latur and shoes brought from lucknow Sharma’s home town.

“They held a meeting at india gate for around half-an-hour. Sharma and Manoranjan were given a yellow-coloured smoke bomb each which they hid in the cavity of their shoes. Around noon, Sharma and Manoranjan entered parliament and threw the smoke bombs,” the sources said. They added that it was decided in the meeting at india gate that instead of throwing the smoke bomb, they would hold it in their hands to show the canisters were harmless. Sharma also hid some pamphlets in his shoes which were supposed to be thrown into the chamber below after the smoke bomb was released.

The total number of accused rose to seven on thursday, of which six have been arrested. lok sabha proceedings on thursday were adjourned till 2pm following vociferous protests by opposition members demanding a statement from the government on the security breach in the House. Speaker om birla said the responsibility of the security matters of the lok sabha is with the House’s secretariat. However, the opposition members continued with their demand for a statement from the government. As the protests continued, Birla adjourned the proceedings till 2pm.
