Bikram Singh said when summoned by SIT in drug smuggling case

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of punjab Police, which is probing a drug case, has asked Shiromani Akali

Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia to appear before it on december 18. Is. Majithia shared a copy of the

summons on X on monday and described it as a love letter. The former punjab minister has been asked to

appear before the SIT on december 18 at 11 am. The SIT is headed by Additional director General of Police

(Patiala Range) Mukhwinder Singh Chinna. Majithia said, bhagwant mann has sent a love letter! Former Akali

minister and SAD leader Majithia was charged with Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) on

December 20, 2021 during the previous Charanjit Singh Channi-led congress government. A case was registered

under the Act.

Cases have been registered against Bikram Singh Majithia under these sections.

Majithia has been booked under sections 25 (allowing his premises to be used for the commission of an offence),

27A (financing illegal trafficking and harboring criminals) and 29 (inciting or conspiring to commit an offence)


of the NDPS Act. A case was registered. The action against him was based on a 2018 report by a special task

force on a drug gang in the state.

Akali Dal leader surrounded AAP minister

Earlier, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia made a big allegation against Harjot Singh Bains, a

minister in the aam aadmi party government, for carrying out illegal mining. He also said that the minister

demanded a high court monitoring or cbi inquiry into the alleged illegal mining worth crores of rupees being

done in Ropar.
