What did Shivraj say on CM face in Madhya Pradesh?

After BJP’s landslide victory in madhya pradesh assembly elections, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said

on tuesday that he has never been a contender for the post of chief minister before or even now. The Bharatiya

Janata party (BJP) had not presented anyone for the post of chief minister for the 2023 assembly elections. In

madhya pradesh, bjp got 163 seats in the 230-member assembly, while congress got 66 seats and Bharat Adivasi

party got one seat. In a video statement shared on his official X account, Chouhan said, I was neither a

contender for the post of chief minister (post) earlier nor am I today. As a party worker, I have always done any

task assigned by the bjp to the best of my ability, genuineness and honesty and dedication. The 64 year old

leader, who has been the chief minister of madhya pradesh four times, said that he Lucky to be a bjp worker.

Chauhan said, “I am fortunate that (Prime Minister) narendra modi is our leader and I got a chance to work with

him. A glorious, prosperous and powerful india is being built under the leadership of Modi ji. Modi ji is our

leader and we always feel proud and happy to work with him.  He thanked the voters and said that the people of

the state gave unprecedented support to the BJP.

Answering a reporter’s question after a program in Bhopal, Chauhan said that he is not going to delhi to meet top

party leaders. He said, “Tomorrow, I am going to Chhindwara, where we failed to win even one of the seven seats

(in the district). I have resolved that bjp wins all the 29 lok sabha seats of madhya pradesh and narendra Modi

becomes the prime minister of the country again. bjp lost in all the seven assembly constituencies of Chhindwara

district, the home area of state congress chief and former chief minister Kamal Nath. Went. In the 2019 Lok

Sabha elections, bjp won 28 seats in the state, but Kamal Nath’s son and congress candidate nakul Nath won

from Chhindwara.
