Legally respond immediately to public demands..!?

The main objective of the Lokayukta Act was to abolish the mall administration. People's confidence in the administration should be built by responding patiently and providing correct information to the public coming to the office: BS Patil.  Karnataka Lokayukta Justice B.S. Patila said that if adequate administration is done, many problems will be solved on the spot.

B.S. Patila, who spoke in a meeting of district level and taluk level officials held at the Zilla panchayat Hall in the city today (Friday) said that the main objective of the Lokayukta Act is to remove the mall administration. Respond patiently to the public coming to the office and instill confidence in the administration by providing correct information. He said that if there is undue delay in the disposal of the file, appropriate action will be taken.

He said that the government offices should be handled by the departmental or district heads in a powerful manner. The working practices of the lower level officers should be known by checking the progress from time to time. Indifference, neglect and slowness of follower should be warned. And if necessary, appropriate action should be taken as per rules, Lokayukta said.

After receiving information from Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr.Eshwara Ullagaddi about garbage collection, garbage sorting, waste management and organic manure production in Avalinagar, he appreciated that the Municipal Corporation is doing a good job and said that the indore model should be adopted in waste management and become a model for the country. He got information from Shivannavar about the survey of all 1206 lakes in the district. The Lokayukta Justices appreciated the survey of the lakes and cleared the encroachments and congratulated the Land Records Department Officer.

Out of 1206 lakes surveyed, 283.38 acres of encroached land in 156 lakes was identified. Out of this 84 lakes and 115.21 acres of land encroachment has been cleared. So far 1050 lakes are encroachment free. And steps are being taken to clear the encroachment of about 168 acres of 72 lakes. district Collector Gurudatta Hegde said that government buildings, temples, community buildings and school buildings are being inspected.

In the meeting, he asked the officials to get information regarding some complaint cases of education Department, health Department, Municipal Corporation, Urban Development Authority, Niravari, Excise and police Departments and give a comprehensive report on the same.

After the meeting Lokayukta Justice B.S. Patila received complaints from members of the public, associations and organizations who had arrived from different towns of the district, district Collector Gurudatta Hegde, Metropolitan police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar, district Superintendent of police Dr. Gopal Bakoda, district panchayat Chief Executive Officer Swarup TK, Deputy Conservator of Forests Sonal Vrishni, Lokayukta Secretary Srinivasa. , Dharwad Lokayukta SP Satish Chitaguppi was on the stage and the meeting was attended by heads of all government departments, corporations, boards and taluk level officials.
