Manoj Jarange had given two months time to the maharashtra government to take a major decision on the

Maratha reservation issue. A few days ago, a general meeting of OBC leaders was held in Jalna on the issue of

reservation. Many big OBC leaders like Chhagan Bhujbal, Pankaja Munde and congress leader Wadettiwar


participated in this meeting. Bhujbal had also targeted Jarange in the general meeting held in Jalna. After the

participation of congress leader of MVA alliance in this meeting, now a big statement has come out from the

Congress side.

This statement has come from Nana Patole. maharashtra congress President Nana Patole promised that if our

government comes to power in maharashtra, we will give maratha reservation on the basis of caste census.

What did Manoj Jarange say on reservation?

Social activist Manoj Jarange-Patil on monday reiterated his demand for maratha reservation, saying that the

community wants its fair reservation in government jobs and education. Jarange addressed a public meeting in

Kharadi area of pune city in maharashtra as part of his visit to parts of the state to interact with Marathas and

raise awareness on the issue of reservation. The social activist said that according to the information he has

received from the scrutiny of documents (by a government-appointed committee), so far 29 lakh cases have

been found where Kunbi is mentioned in the documents related to Marathas.
