Diwali Bonus : 10% Diwali bonus for government employees..!?
The chief minister has ordered to give diwali bonus to tamil Nadu Cooperative Society employees. This has made tamil Nadu government employees happy. tamilnadu government has issued an order to give diwali bonus to cooperative society workers. In this regard, the tamil Nadu government has issued a statement, "The Hon'ble chief minister of tamil Nadu has ordered to give bonus for the year 2022-2023 and ex-gratia for the year 2023-2024 to the employees working in cooperative societies in tamil Nadu. The government has ordered to pay bonus (bonus and gratuity) of 10 percent of their salary to the employees working in cooperative societies under the Bonus Act, as in the previous year.
Accordingly 3000/- to the employees of head associations and central associations and Rs. 2,400/- to the employees of primary associations as ex-gratia on the occasion of diwali, which are not covered by the Bonus Act, have also been ordered. Accordingly, 44,270 employees working in Head Co-operative Societies, Central Co-operative Societies and Primary Co-operative Societies across tamil Nadu will receive Rs. 28 crores and one lakh bonus and gratuity will be given,” it said.
