BJP’s master stroke against caste based enumeration demand in UP

In view of the demand for caste based enumeration before the upcoming lok sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, bjp has decided to form a committee at the state level. In which there will be a discussion on which backward caste data-face should contest the elections district wise. According to the data of the last election, three names will be shortlisted and sent to the Central election Committee and one of them will contest the lok sabha elections. After the data of caste based enumeration came in Bihar, opposition parties in different states including Uttar Pradesh and in central politics have started raising the demand of caste based enumeration. bharatiya janata party is not in favor of caste based enumeration, but bjp is trying to woo the OBC section which benefits the most from caste based enumeration. After the meeting held yesterday in delhi with the central leadership and leaders of UP bharatiya janata party, it has been agreed to give more tickets to the OBC section along with giving more focus to them. 35 to 40 OBC candidates may get a chance

In the meeting held in delhi yesterday on Thursday, bharatiya janata party National President JP Nadda, National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh, Union home minister amit shah, Uttar Pradesh cm yogi adityanath and all the leaders of OBC category met. In this meeting, it has been agreed to give more tickets to the backward classes and give them more participation in the 2024 lok sabha elections as compared to 2019. Let us tell you that in 2019, bharatiya janata party had fielded 28 OBC candidates, if sources are to be believed, this time this number could be between 35 to 40.
