Former dharmavaram MLA Gonuguntla Suryanarayana was fined Rs.1.60 crore. Goguntla Suryanarayana is also known as Varadapuram Suri. It has been revealed in the surprise inspections carried out by the officials of the underground mines department that large-scale irregularities have taken place in the management of the stone crusher unit belonging to him. It is known that a fine has been imposed to this extent.

A stone crusher unit is running in the name of Nitin Sai Construction Company of varadapuram suri in survey No. 40-4, 53 near Anantapuram Rural Mandal Krishnamreddypalli. For this, the road metal is moved from the nearby quarry to the crusher.. There, 6 mm, 12 mm, 20 mm, 40 mm... along with different types of gravel are converted into dust and moved to other areas. Recently the Mines Department conducted surprise inspections on this quarry. In this, a huge difference was seen between the stock moved from the quarry and the stock in the crusher. Officials found a huge difference in the details between the road metal stock brought from the quarry near Chiyedu village and the road metal stock in the stone crusher. With this, measurements were taken in the quarry.

Of these measurements, the crusher unit operators did not show details of 24,370 cubic meters in the records. No scenery is paid for it. However, the officials found that the money had been illegally moved. After these inspections, the officials of the Department of Mines have issued a notice to Nitin Sai Construction to tell where to move the metal with the difference. But, there was no response from the management to their notices. In this order, the officials calculated the amount of the illegally transported road metal and imposed a fine of five times. To this extent, the notices said that the total fine of Rs.1.60 crore should be paid to the government on time. In case of non-payment, the crusher unit will be seized.
