147 Tamils trapped there during the Israel-Palestine war have been rescued and reached tamil Nadu. As the war between israel and palestine is intensifying, many Tamils are stuck there unable to return to their homeland. According to the order of tamil Nadu chief minister Stalin, the tamil Nadu government issued helpline numbers to help the Tamils there and collected their details and shared them with the Ministry of External Affairs of the Union government and the indian Embassy in Israel. Also whatsapp groups have been formed and the situation of Tamils there is being continuously monitored. Accordingly, the information of 158 stranded Tamils was known through the helpline numbers announced by the tamil Nadu government. Contact was made with them through tamil Nadu Government's tamil Nadu Welfare Department and their needs were ascertained. Based on that, through the Operation ajay program of the central government, 98 Tamils who had come in four phases so far were brought to their homes on behalf of the tamil Nadu government.



Following this, 23 Tamils who arrived in delhi through Operation ajay from israel were welcomed by the tamil Nadu government and flight tickets were arranged. Later, 4 from delhi arrived at Coimbatore, 17 at chennai airport and 2 at madurai airport. All of them were welcomed by the tamil Nadu government and sent to their native towns in vehicles arranged at the government's expense. So far, 121 Tamils from israel have arrived in tamil Nadu at the expense of the tamil Nadu government and 26 at their own expense. That means a total of 147 people from tamil Nadu have arrived from there.
