According to sources, the Hamas Group, which launched "thousands of rockets" in surprise strikes on israel on october 7, has offered to free all hostages under certain conditions. According to an NBC news report, a senior Hamas official informed the news agency that if israel stopped shelling Gaza, the armed organization would be prepared to free all civilian detainees right now. The source said that if Israeli troops stopped their military incursions in the Gaza Strip, a Hamas leader was prepared to release all hostages in an hour.
The armed group's demand to free civilian detainees came soon after an airstrike on tuesday in the Hamas-run enclave of Gaza City killed hundreds of people at a hospital. The Israeli military denied being behind the attack on a hospital in Gaza on tuesday, claiming that military information indicated the facility was struck by a botched rocket fire by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad armed organization stationed in the territory. "Following an analysis by the IDF's operational systems, a barrage of rockets was launched toward israel, which passed in the vicinity of the hospital, when it was hit," israel Defense Forces shared on X.

"According to intelligence information from a number of sources we have, the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization is responsible for the failed rocket launch that hit the hospital," IDF added.

A Gaza health Ministry official informed news agency Reuters that at least 500 people were killed and injured in the Israeli raid on the hospital, contrary to claims from the local authority that stated at least 300 people had died. Following a fatal air assault on a hospital in Gaza that claimed hundreds of lives, Palestinian President Mahmoud abbas ordered three days of mourning. A Palestinian official called this attack against the hospital a "massacre".

Genocide is occurring at this time. We demand that the world community step in right now to put an end to this atrocity. The Palestinian Liberation Organisation issued a statement in reaction to Israel's bombing that stated, "Silence is no longer acceptable."
After Hamas fired a flurry of rockets at southern israel on october 7, the armed group ignited the current deadly conflict with Israeli forces. Known as "Operation Al Aqsa Flood Battle," Hamas conducted a terror strike against Israel.
Following the historic attack by the Hamas Group, israel launched "Operation iron Swords," a ground invasion of southern Israeli cities, in which it shot and killed civilians. Thousands of people have already died as a result of the two sides' brutal battle.
A few days after israel placed a complete embargo on Gaza, including the provision of necessities like gasoline, water, power, and medical supplies, Hamas authorities have demanded the release of all civilian captives. Blinken did, however, state that the US and israel were "in talks" to help provide medical assistance and life kits for Gaza residents following his meeting with prime minister Benjamin on Tuesday. Furthermore, israel decided to start supplying water to Gaza again on Monday.
